How do I pick up a book I requested from the Library?

Our new Quick Pickup service will get you the materials you need with minimal contact with people and public spaces. Please follow the following steps to ensure that the pickup process is as safe and smooth as possible:

  2. Once you are logged in, select "Request for Pickup" in the catalog listing.Screenshot of OneSearch listing for So You Want to Talk about Race, with the option to request for pickup highlighted.
  3. Under Pickup Location, choose University Library to pick up at the 2nd floor Info/Checkout Desk or Locker Pickup to pick up at our smart lockers located outside the first floor entrance.
  4. Click the Request button.
  5. Wait for an email indicating the item is checked out to you and ready for pickup. 
  6. Within 7 days of receiving this email, stop by the library to retrieve your materials. If you choose Locker Pickup, stop by the lockers  and input the access code sent to you via email. You will forfeit your hold if materials have not been retrieved within 7 days.
